BIOLOGICAL STIMULANTS
An important part of the biological management process involves feeding and stimulating the soil biomass, to optimise their numbers and development, and also to manipulate the balance depending on crop requirements. We have a range of materials used to feed, encourage and manipulate soil biology.
Biological foods & Stimulants

Deep Sea Liquid Kelp & Deep Sea Kelp Powder
DeepSeaKelp is a natural source of plant growth regulators, (PGR’s) Auxins, Gibberellins, Cytokinins and micronutrients (trace elements). Deep Sea Kelp boosts plant growth and assists the recovery from stress. The carbohydrate components contained in Deep Sea Kelp are also a powerful biological stimulant which revitalise and re-invigorate the root systems of most plants.

Ful-Vik Liquid & Ful-Vik Powder
Ful-Vik liquid is a natural/organic chelation agent, it contains fulvic acid and Potassium fulvates which are suitable for use as a foliar fertilizer or combined with other water-soluble NPK fertilizers to increase their efficiency. Fulvic acids assist with the chelation of plant nutrients making them more available for plant uptake. It can be used in foliar applications, overhead irrigation systems or through the roots in hydroponic and soil based growing systems. Scientific research has shown that the fulvic acids in Ful-Vik liquid shorten the plants’ response time to fertilizer applications.
Ful-Vik liquid increases the permeability of root membranes enabling a more efficient uptake of nutrients, on a biochemical level these characteristics also lead to an increase in photosynthesis and ventilation, which encourages a larger production of sugars. The transport of nutrients within the plant is also enhanced as is the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids, facilitating the action of enzymes and amino acids within the plant. By increasing the availability and uptake of nutrients, fertilizer loss is also reduced.
Fulvic acid also helps buffer and solubilise ’tied-up’ Phosphorus in the soil.
Application Rates FulVik Liquid:
Greens and Tees:
Add to fertilizer solution at 0.5% concentration (1 part to 200 parts water or nutrient solution) before application or apply 100ml - 200ml per100 m2 monthly.
Ovals, Fairways and General Sports turf:
Add to fertilizer solution at 0.5% concentration (1 part to 200 parts water or nutrient solution) before application or apply 50ml - 100ml100 m2 monthly.
General landscape use (trees, shrubs, garden areas, including natives):
Apply to soil (at 10 – 20lt/ha) per growing season, in 2 or 3 split applications.
Agriculture/Horticulture/Viticulture:
As general guide apply FulVik liquid at 3 to 5 litres per hectare.
Greenhouse crops:
Mix with fertilizer solution at 0.5% concentration (1 part to 200 parts water or nutrient solution) and apply weekly.
Vegetables and row cropping:
Apply to soil (at 3 – 5lt/ha) and again 4 – 6 weeks later.
Fruit trees and Vines:
Apply to soil (at 10 – 20lt/ha) per growing season, in 2 or 3 split applications.
If using in combination with biological inoculants such as Soil & Plant Tonic, follow applications (by approx one week) at 5 – 10 litres per hectare.
Application Rates FulVik Powder:

Liquid Fish
Liquid Fish is a natural liquid fertilizer which provides an effective boost to biological activity, soil fertility and plant growth. Fish fertilizers have been used with great success for centuries throughout the world and are ideal in situations where long term consistent feeding is required. Liquid Fish contains amino and fatty acids, essential vitamins, and a vast array of micronutrients in a natural form which break down slowly, providing long term availability.
Application Rates:
Suitable for fertigation, mister, boom spray and trickle irrigation systems or as a foliar spray because of its superfine particle size and optimum oil content.

Apply as a soil drench at 4 litres – 8 litres per 1000m2
Ovals, Fairways and General Sports Turf:
Apply as a soil drench at 3 litres – 6 litres per 1000m2
Dilute at 1 litre per 20 litres water
General landscape use (trees, shrubs, garden areas, including natives):

Liquid Humate & Humi-K Soluble Humate
Two natural soil conditioners which contain high levels of stable humic compounds, humic acid is effective in boosting the Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of the soil. Humic acid can also stabilse and buffer Nitrogen and Phosphorus fertilizers, increasing their efficiency, minimising leaching and reducing the acidifying effects associated with many fertilizers. Humic compounds should be added with every fertilizer application containing Nitrogen.
